The barber shop is located on Main Street in between the Emporium and the house where the carriage horse is kept. If you tend to go straight for the castle you may miss it!
Although Harmony does recommend calling and making an appointment, we took a chance and went on a Saturday afternoon. If you are visiting on vacation, you will definitely want to make an appointment (407-WDW-PLAY). We went straight to the shop once arriving in the park to see if walk ins were available. We only had to wait about 15 minutes!
Delaney did a great job sitting for her cut, and her stylist Orlando was wonderful. The atmosphere of the shop is very old fashioned and even features a pot bellied stove. They do great things for the kid's first cut including commemorative ears, a certificate and a keepsake pouch with some of their hair and pixie dust!
She doesn't look too happy here, but Delaney had a great experience at Harmony Barber Shop and we enjoyed sharing this with her.
The certificate is great for framing, and I am sure we will cherish it for years to come!
Here is the little Princess later in the day, looking beautiful with her new cut, and smiling after her wonderful experience at Disney and Harmony Barber Shop!
