Back in PA I could barely keep a small garden alive throughout the summer. I would plant the wrong type of flowers or forget to water them. Fall and winter would come, they'd all die and I would start trying all over again the next spring.
In Florida, however, weather conditions make it easy to have a wonderful garden. There are tons of native plants all of which thrive in the natural conditions. Usually it rains just enough to water the plants as they need it, and many types of plants can go days without being watered.
Currently I am just planting green plants and flowers, but plan to try vegetables and some fruits next spring. Hoping to share my journey with you!
